When I look at Waterloo Bridge I see a row of profiles looking out into the river Thames. After seeing the bridge at night I couldn't resist painting it. The beams of light shine out eerily from the 'eyes' of the bridge. Painting the lights that run along the top of the bridge was like physically turning on the lights!
