Olivia De Goaltree and Art Fair

I have had a busy few days with the opening of 50/50 at the Hackney Picture House on Thursday and then the Candid Art Fair over the weekend. 50/50 was a fascinating project to work on. Painting Olivier as 'Olivia' was a strange experience... In fact I almost didn't do it as when I started to paint I really felt like I didn't know who I was painting. It was also quite a challenge because of the scale of the painting and the fact that he could only stand for 10 minutes at a time because of his heels!

The Art Fair has been a great experience, meeting collectors and the other artists.
